Brew your largest recipes of all grain or partial mash while saving time and preventing grain from spilling with the G. Francis | Boiling Bag. It fits 17-inch diameter kettles and holds 20 pounds of grain. Fill your kettle with 6 gallons of water (for 5-gallon batches) and heat to strike water temperature (your recipe should specify a strike and sparge water temperature), allow grain to sit for recommended mashing time, lift to let bag drain and pour additional sparge water over bag to rinse remaining sugars out of grain (do not squeeze bag), then set bag and grain aside. This brew bag beer brewing bag 1-pack is also a great herb sack for teas, soups, and stews. Use it as a cold brew coffee filter, or secondary fermenting bag. Kettle not included.
