By putting a wort Chiller into a brew kettle at the end of the boil and running cool water through the Chiller, it is possible to cool the wort below 80 Degrees in 12 to 15 minutes. This reduces the lag time between the boil and active yeast fermentation. This unit comes with the fittings needed to hook up your own garden hoses to the wort Chiller.
