All our beautiful hand-crafted stills are made right here in North Georgia! We are a veteran-owned and operated business, and we take pride in delivering the best product, made by true craftsman. What makes an NGSC still? The difference is in the details. All of our stills are made from 100% American copper. We designed our stills from the ground up to be more efficient, easier to use, and easier to maintain. Our massive vapor cones allow excellent head space. The opening into the still gives you the ability to actually get your arm inside your still. Most stills on the market do not allow this. Building such a steep cone is more difficult, however, we set out for the best. Nothing less. Our bottoms are designed to hold the weight of your wash. With double thick bottom seams, our stills can support over double the weight you will load them with. Our caps and collars are made in pairs, the cap designed with a slight taper, to “pinch” down on the collar. Each one hand fitted, to aid in a perfect seal. Our still bodies have beads rolled into them, allowing for a robust, yet beautiful still. All of our worms come with a water inlet and outlet, designed to be used with a hose, or a water pump. This gives you the ability to cool your vapors, no matter how hard you run your still. (We always recommend low heat for best results! Our thumper’s inlet runs all the way to the bottom. It is then cut at a 45-degree angle, with flutes cut into it, to maximize effectiveness. The outlet barely protrudes into the top of the thump keg, allowing vapors to escape with ease, and keeping pressure to a minimum. Something often overlooked: the seams! We put thick, beautiful seams on all of our equipment. Our solder work is what you would expect in a high quality still. Making moonshine/whiskey is an art. We think folks deserve the kind of quality craftsmanship and beauty that looks as good as the whiskey tastes!
