Hungarian medium toast oak barrel. 48 litre (12.7 gallons) capacity. Stubby shaped barrel with heavy 7/8″ nominal thickness oak staves. Ships with a full sized shipping bung. Includes a funtional barrel stand as well. When barrel is standing on end, the barrel measures 18 inches high and is 16 inches in diameter on both ends. This barrel is made from Hungarian oak harvested from the Zemplen forest of Hungary (Hungarian white oak Quercus Petraea). It is medium toast.
